Tuition and Tiered Model

Everbloom Montessori is a nonprofit Montessori school in Grand Rapids serving children from infancy through age six. We use a tiered tuition model to make high-quality Montessori education accessible across a wide range of household incomes, while sustaining the staffing, environment, and materials required for authentic Montessori programming.

Tuition Tiers and Membership Dues

Household income tiers
Tiers are based on combined household income using 2025 income tax returns.

Tier A: $0–$69,000
Tier B: $69,001–$98,000
Tier C: $98,001–$155,000
Tier D: $155,001–$300,000
Tier E: $300,000+

Annual membership dues
Annual membership dues are required to confirm enrollment once admission is offered.

Tier A: $100
Tier B: $200
Tier C: $300
Tier D: $400
Tier E: $500

Documentation for tier placement
To ensure fair placement within the tiered structure, all families upload their prior year tax documents during enrollment confirmation.

Tier A requirement
Families placed in Tier A are required to apply for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Childcare Scholarship. This scholarship may reduce tuition significantly or fully cover childcare costs for qualifying families and supports long-term sustainability of the tiered model.

What Tuition Includes

For Young Toddler through Children’s House, tuition includes daily breakfast, lunch, and snack. Everbloom partners with the local YMCA to provide healthy, diverse meal options, including gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan choices.

Note for parents
Infant tuition reflects care needs specific to infant programming.

The program focuses on early learning, social development, and school readiness so children enter kindergarten with strong foundational skills.

For GSRP students, additional care hours are priced monthly as follows:

AM Care: $229/month
PM Care: $457/month
Extended Day: $629/month

Discounts and policies

Sibling discount
Families with multiple children enrolled receive a 5% discount on the lowest-cost tuition.

Placement and scheduling notes
Classroom groupings by age are estimates of developmental readiness. Placement recommendations are made by program directors. Tuition totals are based on consistent five-day schedules for the academic year. Summer care enrollment is handled separately. Variations in individualized extended care schedules will be calculated and billed accordingly.

Access Programs and Financial Support

Everbloom participates in multiple programs that can reduce costs for eligible families.

MDHHS Childcare Scholarship (MI Bridges)
Michigan offers childcare assistance that may reduce tuition significantly or fully cover childcare costs for qualifying families. Families placed in Tier A are required to apply.

MI Tri-Share
The Michigan Tri-Share program can split childcare costs between the family, their employer, and the State of Michigan. Families can ask their employer about participation and apply through the state program.

Great State Readiness Program (GSRP)
Everbloom participates in Michigan’s free Pre-K program for eligible four-year-olds in partnership with Kent ISD.
