Yes! Everbloom Montessori accepts MDHHS payments through the Child Development and Care program. This program has been immensely beneficial for many of our current families, allowing them to participate in our program at little to no cost.
For families applying for Tier A Tuition, we require the application for the Child Development and Care program as a mutually beneficial arrangement. This helps support both the financial needs of the family and the functioning of our program.
If you have any specific questions about the application process or need assistance with any aspect of MDHHS payments, feel free to contact us at Office@EverbloomMontessori.com. We are here to assist you.
Learn more about these and other benefits available through the Michigan Department of Education. See if your family qualifies here.

To better serve the majority of our current and prospective families, Everbloom only offers a five-day-a-week option for all ages. If a family chooses to enroll, but only wants to send their child part-time that is the choice of the individual family. Tuition adjustments will not be made to accommodate a part-time schedule.

We would be delighted to show you around our facility. Tours are typically available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 and 11:00am. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and staff, we aren't able to accommodate unprompted tours. To schedule a tour, please send an email to Office@EverbloomMontessori.com to schedule. We look forward to the opportunity to introduce you to the Everbloom Montessori community!

Everbloom operates on a conventional academic calendar, with regular holiday closures and breaks to give our staff an equal opportunity for rest and rejuvenation.
We make every effort to remain open on our scheduled days of operation. However, there may be days in which, due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we may need to close.
School closings and delays will be communicated, when necessary due to weather conditions that make travel unsafe, through school-wide communication via Slack, email or text message as soon as possible, as well as through local TV news stations.

Rates vary depending on your preferred daily schedule and Family Tier. Please see our Enrollment page for the latest information. The tuition covers the full school year, starting at the end of August and running through the first week of June. Beginning Fall 2025 this will include food service.
It's important to note that our listed tuition rates do not include Summer Care, which is a separate program with its own tuition structure.
-
Since our founding, Everbloom Montessori has utilized a tiered tuition model, based on household income to make high-quality Montessori education accessible to families across socioeconomic levels. Each family pays an amount commensurate with their annual income based on the previous years tax return.
-
The 5-tier model is designed to make Montessori education accessible to more families by better aligning the tuition costs with a wider range of income levels. This change helps align Everbloom with its mission of equity and inclusivity.
-
We consider the investment in your child's education a partnership and ask that families that experience a change in income be in communication with our finance team as soon as possible. We hope that families that are in a more favorable financial position than expected contribute to the stabilization of our program by paying at the appropriate tier. We also know that unexpected circumstances may arise and will do our best to accommodate and support families that find themselves navigating hardships. This can come in the form of temporary tuition assistance as well as a permanent shift in the Tuition Tier for the remainder of the session. All assistance decisions will be handled on a case-by-case basis and depend on financial bandwidth at the time of request.
-
The 2025-2026 school year will include a food program offering healthy, balanced meals for students, provided by a trusted community partner, the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids. While the program will be standardized, families can share specific dietary needs to ensure accommodations.
-
Families with multiple children enrolled will receive a 5% discount on the lowest cost tuition as outlined: Student A is full tuition, Student B and Student C each receive a 5% tuition discount
-
Annual membership fees demonstrate commitment to our cooperative community and help to support our programming. These fees are paid each year at enrollment confirmation and are charged per family, not per student. They are tiered based on household income, just like our tuition scale.
-
We welcome applications on a rolling basis, so families can apply at any time. Most students begin their journey with us at the start of the academic year, typically at the end of August. This aligns with our regular enrollment schedule.
For families considering mid-year enrollment, we encourage you to apply and join our Waiting Pool. This allows your child to be considered for enrollment if spots become available throughout the year. Our team will reach out to families in the Waiting Pool as openings arise.
-
You can find a link to our fall application through the main navigation on our website. You will be redirected to a platform called Jovial, which we use to manage all our classroom and family information once enrolled. Application fees can be paid through this platform as well.
-
An application fee of $100.00 is due with all new applications (if you have not previously completed an application for your child). This fee is non-refundable and is required for your application to be submitted and on record. Fees can be paid through our school portal, Jovial. Families that qualify for the Childcare Scholarship through the MDHHS Child Development and Care program will be waived. Contact office@everbloommontessoti.com for more information.
-
If this fee is a barrier for your family, but you are otherwise committed to investing in Montessori care for your child, please reach out to office@everbloommontessori.com. Families qualifying for Child Development and Care program can have this fee waived.
-
We take many factors into consideration during the admissions process, including socio-economic and racial diversity, previous enrollment, enrolled siblings, proximity to our program, age, prior Montessori experience, and available openings by tier, among others. While we aim to honor applications in the order they are received, we reserve the right to admit families in alignment with the mission and objectives of our learning community.
-
We have several parent and staff-led committees that support critical aspects of our program function, from finance and governance decisions to community engagement and facilities improvements. We ask those who can volunteer time to work within one of these areas, but there are also a variety of other volunteer opportunities that arise throughout the school year. Each classroom also has its own specific opportunities to engage.
We encourage our grown-ups and children to participate in ways that are available and meaningful to them. We do understand that this work may be harder for some families to fulfill, so do not require certain hours or jobs at this time.
-
We offer year-round care to the majority of families, but we may reduce capacity or hours in the summertime. This allows us to accommodate training and certification opportunities for our staff, as well as support our team and families in having the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Michigan summers. Enrollment in our school-year program does not guarantee placement in our summer program and tuition is administered separately.
We do not, at this time offer summer care to families who are not enrolled during the school year. -
