Everbloom is Growing!

We are thrilled to share the
news of the purchase and redevelopment of 1575 Jefferson Ave SE, the new home for Everbloom Montessori in 2025!

Everbloom Montessori is a community-centered Montessori school that prioritizes accessible, holistic education tailored to individual children’s needs. Everbloom challenges conventional educational models by offering a flexible, inclusive approach that fosters independence creativity, and curiosity. Our innovative financial structure reflects our deep commitment equity and inclusivity, ensuring all families have the opportunity to choose an education that aligns with their values and aspirations.

This new location represents an incredible opportunity to create a thoughtfully designed early childhood education center that serves infants to six-year-olds, while laying the groundwork to launch an elementary program as early as Fall 2025.

This new space will bring all of our programming under one roof, and grow our capacity by more than 50%, creating opportunities for more families to have the high-quality, early childhood education they deserve. It will include nine beautifully designed classrooms, dynamic outdoor play areas, and community space to nurture learning and connection. Inside, the facility will feature dedicated classrooms for infants, toddlers, and Children’s House students, along with multipurpose spaces designed to serve as a gross motor area and elementary classrooms.

Programs & Partnerships

  • Infant-Toddler

Our Infant & Toddler Communities nurture curiosity and development through Montessori principles, fostering independence, exploration, and a sense of belonging. Infants and toddlers actively engage with their environment, absorbing information through all their senses.

Caring educators create individualized learning experiences, ensuring each child feels respected and valued. These environments promote essential life skills—problem-solving, self-regulation, and communication—through self-directed play. Thoughtfully designed materials support sensory exploration and cognitive growth.

With a focus on the whole child, our approach encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe, loving environment. Guides support independence, decision-making, and learning through trial and success within a compassionate space.

  • Children's House

Everbloom’s Children’s House offers a vibrant Montessori environment for children ages 3 to 6, where curiosity and independence flourish. Rooted in Montessori philosophy, our program emphasizes self-directed learning, where children engage with carefully curated materials that invite exploration and foster deep learning. The classroom is designed to offer freedom within structure, allowing children to choose activities that resonate with their interests and developmental needs. Through hands-on materials and child-led exploration, our program supports each child’s natural development across academic, social, and emotional areas.

Montessori materials are a core component of our approach, thoughtfully designed to support children's learning in concrete, engaging ways. These materials allow children to explore concepts such as numbers, letters, shapes, and patterns through hands-on experience. Practical life materials, including pouring pitchers, scoops, and button frames, help children develop fine motor skills and independence while performing everyday tasks. The prepared environment fosters responsibility, self-regulation, and collaboration in a mixed-age classroom where older children mentor younger peers, creating a supportive and joyful learning community

  • Elementary

The Montessori elementary curriculum, known as "cosmic education," nurtures imagination and intellect through self-directed exploration. Students follow a personalized learning path, guided by a teacher who tailors lessons to their unique interests and development.

Elementary education at Everbloom is offered through Grove Montessori, an independent public school, co-located on the Everbloom campus. Grove is pending charter authorization through Grand Valley State University, with final approval expected in February. Additional steps through the Michigan Department of Education and Wildflower Schools Affiliation must be completed before enrollment begins.

As a micro school, Grove Montessori will have limited capacity in its early years, and may not be able to accommodate all interested families initially. This partnership seeks to create a seamless transition from Everbloom’s early childhood program into a public Montessori elementary option, fostering independence, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.
