Everbloom Montessori Cooperative believes that the first six years of a child’s life are the most critical. We offer a high-quality learning environment to a diverse community of children and families.
We encourage independence, respect, and freedom with safe limits in a Montessori environment. We work in collaboration with the adults in each child’s life to support and develop the skills of daily living, not only at school but also at home and as members of the community.

What is Montessori?
Montessori Philosophy is a form of early childhood education that focuses on the child by positioning the teacher as a well-prepared guide, available to assist the child in their exploration. While the child/teacher relationship is still vital in any form of education, Maria Montessori found that children learn more fully and deeply when they are allowed to initiate their own learning and set their own pace.
The Co-op Model
Cooperative models benefit parents and families through sharing of valuable resources, skills and time. In addition to high-quality child care, our community emphasizes family involvement and parent/adult education. Engaged families also develop meaningful connection & social support as a part of our learning community.

Our Environment
In our Montessori classrooms you will find space that is centered around the child with an atmosphere of calm and beauty. The classroom is set-up to be a true “Children’s House” in which the furnishings are child-sized, organized, and invite the child into exploration and discovery.

Our space
We have two lovely facilities, totaling over 8,000sf facility near the intersection of Burton and Breton in SE Grand Rapids, with a beautiful outdoor space and easy access to the greater Grand Rapids metro area. We’re a short walk from three major bus lines (#5, #6, #24), and conveniently located near many other amenities including grocery, retail, pediatric, and other professional offices.
